Ordinary filter materials are traditional needle felts, woven filter materials, and the like. The working principle is the so-called “deep filtration” technology, that is, through the collection of filter fibers, a “primary dust layer” (ie, a powder cake) is formed on the surface of the filter material, and the subsequent dust is filtered through the powder cake. In the initial stage of use, due to the large gap of the filter material itself, part of the dust will be discharged through the filter material. The filtration process does not really start until the powder is formed. After continued use, the dust on the surface of the filter material will gradually infiltrate into the filter material, causing the pores of the filter material to become clogged, so that the running resistance of the equipment is continuously increased until the filter material has to be replaced.

The PTFE coated filter material is a new type of filter material which is formed by laminating a layer of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) film on the surface of a common filter material. This layer of film acts as a “primary dust layer”. Material exchange is carried out on the surface of the membrane and can be effectively filtered at the beginning of use. The unique three-dimensional network structure of the film makes it impossible for the dust to pass through without the pores being clogged.
