1. Impedance Measurement

Select two points at a certain distance on the surface of the sample and test the interelectrode resistance by contacting the electrodes.

It is often used to evaluate the antistatic properties of dust-free clothes, computer room antistatic clothes and carpets.

  1. Electrostatic Adsorptivity Test Method

Make the fabric friction charged and test the time when the fabric static resistance to gravity adheres to the metal plate.

  1. Static Charge Decay Method

Add a certain voltage (usually 5000V) to the sample, test the voltage induced by the sample, and test the time it takes for the charge to decay by half.

  1. Walking (Simulated Walking) Test Method

Simulated human walking is used to walk on the tested sample. The shoes are charged by friction with the sample, and the voltage of the human body is tested. It is usually used to test the antistatic properties of carpets.
