The dust collector bag is the main dust removal tool of the bag filter. It can isolate harmful gases and protect the environment and human health. However, in industrial production, there are many factors that affect it, and the flue gas affects it. Let’s take a look at the effect of flue gas on the dust collector bag:
(1) High temperature of flue gas. The bag filter is mainly used in the flue gas dust removal of industrial boilers, fluidized bed boilers, kilns and coal-fired power station boilers. The temperature of this kind of flue gas is often relatively high, and the temperature when the gas passes into the dust collector is generally about 100 ℃ ~ 300 ℃. Therefore, the performance of ordinary chemical fibers will be affected at this temperature, so the filter material of the bag filter must use high temperature resistant fiber materials.
(2) Corrosion of acid gas. When burning high-sulfur coal or flue gas that has not been desulfurized, the concentration of sulfur oxides and nitrogen oxides will be very high. Except for the dust bag of the FT filter material, other chemical synthetic fiber materials will be damaged by corrosion. In this way, the life of the dust collector bag will be shortened.
(3) Oxidation of flue gas. The flue gas has a certain oxidation effect on the dust collector bag. Because the oxygen in the air accounts for 21%, and the temperature of the flue gas is very high, the dust collector bag will be deeply harmed during work. If you want to avoid this situation, choose some dust collector bags with anti-oxidation filter material, such as P84 polyimide material dust collector bag.
(4) Moisture in the flue gas. Working under high temperature conditions, when the moisture content of the dust in the flue gas exceeds 25%, the dust will easily stick to the bag and block the bag. If the material’s hydrolysis resistance is not high, the hydrolysis will also cause the filter material to suffer damage.
