Alkaline exhaust gases are generally derived from chemical degreasing and alkaline plating. For this purpose, the alkaline exhaust gas can be treated through the pipeline through the “alkaline mist purification tower”, that is, the alkaline exhaust gas is neutralized by the acid spray in the tower.

In addition, the alkaline exhaust gas may be introduced into the “acid mist purification tower” and neutralized with the acidic exhaust gas to be removed.

The ammonia-containing waste gas can only be collected and treated separately, because the ammonia-containing waste gas reacts with the chlorine-containing or fluorine-containing waste gas in the acid waste gas to form a white ammonium chloride or ammonium fluoride precipitate. These precipitates easily lead to clogging of the exhaust pipe and the packing in the purification tower, which affects the emission of exhaust gas. Therefore, for the treatment of ammonia-containing waste gas, only one “alkaline mist purification tower” can be used alone, and dilute sulfuric acid is used as the spray liquid. The ammonia-containing waste gas can be purified.
