Precautions for handling gas with high dust concentration
To process gas with high dust concentration, cyclone dust collector or gravity dust removal equipment can be installed as pre-dust removal. However, this will increase the resistance of the system and increase the power consumption. Therefore, when the dust or finished materials do not need to be classified, most of the bag type dust removal equipment is directly used. However, not all bag-type dust removal equipment can handle gases with high dust concentration. Only the bag-type dust removal equipment with a wide filter bag spacing and a continuous dust removal device outside the bag filter is suitable for processing gases with high dust concentration. When dealing with high dust content, the structure should make the dust fall directly into the ash hopper or add some baffles to reduce the amount of dust attached to the filter bag. Generally speaking, in order to prevent the friction damage of the filter cloth, the high-speed moving dust cannot directly impact the filter cloth. At the same time, the middle part of the box can also be used as a pre-dust collector, and it can also be used as a power settling chamber for dust and a branching chamber for inlet gas. The bag filter used for pneumatic conveying device to collect dust, although the processing air volume is small, the dust concentration is high. And the box body requires pressure resistance, so it is mostly cylindrical. The bag filter can be replaced by a plastic sintered board dust collector. The entrance of the cylindrical box body is made into a tangential direction to make it have a separation effect. Many rotary blowback bag filters are in this form. Sometimes the ash hopper is made into the form of a cyclone dust collector. For the bag filter of the pneumatic conveying system, because of the large amount of powder, the ash hopper volume and the diameter of the ash discharge port must be designed to be larger. Moreover, the capacity of the dust discharge device should also be left with sufficient room to avoid the retention of powder in the ash hopper.
