3. Acrylic fibers: Acrylic fibers are mainly staple fibers. Because they resemble wool, they are called “artificial wool”. Acrylic fibers have unique thermal extensibility and are suitable for making bulky yarns, wool, knitted fabrics and synthetic furs. Acrylic fiber has soft and plump handle, easy dyeing and bright color. Elasticity is not as good as wool, polyester and other fibers, especially after repeated stretching, the residual deformation is larger. So the cuffs and collars of the clothes made of acrylic fibers are easily deformed. The hygroscopicity of acrylic fibers is lower than that of nylon fibers, and it is easy to produce static electricity and pilling. Acrylic fibers are widely used in knitted garments because of their low thermal conductivity and light texture, good heat preservation, excellent sunlight resistance, insect-proof and mildew-proof.
