What kind of dusty fumes can be filtered by the bag filter depends mainly on the conditions of the chemical fiber itself used to make the bag. Therefore, we must have a method to check the performance of the dust bag, in order to choose the appropriate dust collector bag. For the dust collector bag, the contents to be verified and tested are as follows:
- Mechanical properties, such as the breaking strength of the dust bag, the elongation at break, the elongation of the warp and weft of the bag, and the bursting strength of the filter.
- Filter dust characteristics, such as drag coefficient, static dust removal efficiency, dynamic dust removal efficiency, dynamic resistance of filter material, regenerative drag coefficient and dust stripping rate.
- Special functional characteristics such as temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, electrostatic properties, hydrophobicity, etc.
- The physical properties of the dust collector bag, such as the mass per unit area of the dust bag, the thickness, the amplitude, the structure of the woven fabric, the density of the fabric, the bulk density of the nonwoven fabric, and the porosity.
- Appearance inspection of dust collector bags, such as punctures, punctures, black spots, jumpers, broken wires, joints, etc. Under normal flue gas temperature conditions, only the bag can withstand temperatures below 150 ° C. In these occasions, chemical fibers such as polyester, polypropylene, acrylic, and nylon can be basically qualified.
