When the gas passes through the high-voltage electric field, the gas is ionized due to the corona discharge occurring at the cathode. The negatively charged gas ions move toward the sun plate under the action of the electric field force. When it collides with dust particles during exercise, the dust particles are negatively charged. The charged dust particles also move toward the anode under the action of the electric field force. After reaching the anode, the emitted electrons are released. The dust particles are deposited on the anode plate, and the purified gas is discharged outside the dustproof device. The types of electrostatic precipitators are divided into the following categories: vertical and horizontal according to the direction of the airflow, plate and tube according to the type of the sedimentary pole, and dry and wet according to the method of removing the dust on the sediment plate.
