Biomedical Science

In the field of biomedicine, HEPA filters are mainly used to filter out organisms such as bacteria and viruses in the air, and thus can prevent and control the spread of diseases caused by organisms such as bacteria and viruses. In general, medical use of HEPA filtration systems also incorporates high-energy UV modules to kill viruses and live bacteria in filter media. Some HEPA filters are rated for HEPA units with an efficiency rating of 99.995% and are used to control diseases transmitted by bacteria, viruses or other harmful particulate matter in the air.

vacuum cleaner

Many vacuum cleaners are part of their filtration system and also use HEPA filters. This is beneficial for asthma and allergy sufferers because the HEPA filter filters out particles that cause allergies and asthma symptoms (such as pollen and dusty spider mites). HEPA filters are effective in vacuum cleaners, which must be designed to allow all air to be drawn into the machine and discharged through the filter. Also, due to the extra density of the HEPA filter, the vacuum cleaner requires a more powerful motor to provide full cleaning power.
