The antistatic property of fabrics is related to the electrical properties of the main materials. The greater the mass specific resistance of the main material, the greater the friction static voltage of the fabric, and the worse the antistatic performance.
The main yarn material is generally selected according to the requirements of the antistatic fabric environment.
When choosing main raw materials, attention should be paid to:
- Fabrics used in ultra-clean environment can not produce fluff, and filament fibers should be selected.
- Fabrics with polyester as the main raw material should be used in contact with acids.
- In the alkali-exposed environment, nylon fabric as the main raw material should be used.
- In the absence of special requirements, polyester and cotton staple fibers can be selected as the main fabric.
