Thirdly, the filtration mechanism of dust-holding fiber
The design pore diameter of the fiber layer filter material is 20~60μm, which is difficult to capture fine dust. The initial filtration efficiency of the laboratory test is only 50~80%, which obviously cannot meet the requirements of industrial dust removal.
As a bag-type dust collector of high-efficiency dust removal equipment, the real filtering function of the filter material of the fiber layer is to rely on the primary dust layer adhered to the surface of the fiber layer. After the bag filter is put into operation, with the filtering process, the dust layer is derived from the clean filter fiber layer as the “core”. The dust layer established at the beginning is unstable, and it is easy to loose and fall off after cleaning, but there are always some dust particles remaining on the surface of the fiber layer. After several filtrations-cleaning, the stable dust layer that will not peel off after cleaning is gradually formed. , Called a dust layer. The clean fiber layer after the primary dust layer is established is called the dust-holding fiber layer. The primary dust layer is a porous structure composed of fine particles of dust, which has been adhered to the surface fibers of the filter material. Compared with the clean fiber layer, the dust-holding fiber layer has a smaller pore size, curved channels, and reduced porosity. From the analysis of the filtration mechanism, even for particulate dust with a particle size of less than 1 μm, the filtration efficiency can reach 99.9%.
