High Matching: refers to the higher grade of cotton blending, which means that the raw materials are guaranteed and better. Since it is highly matched, the general comb is usually used in the post-processing process.
Carding, Combing and Semi-Combing: Three Ways of Carding Processing.
Carding: cotton roll (carding could not be rolled) through the carding machine, to remove impurities, short fibers, to a certain extent, in one direction, into sliver for the next process (drawing) use.
Combing: Equivalent to an additional process, that is, the general combed sliver is drawn, rolled, and then further combed by the comber, the purpose is to further remove the short fibers and impurities in the fibers, so that the fiber straightness and parallelism is better. In this way, the combing strip is made for the next working procedure (drawing strip). The cotton yarn produced in this way has high strength, good evenness and good gloss. It is generally used to produce high quality yarns or high count yarns.
Semi-combing: Semi-combing is mainly produced to reduce production costs. In fact, it is between general combing and combing, which is generally operated in textile mills. For example, drawing is six and one. Of these six, there are three combed slivers and three general combed cotton, which can produce semi-combed yarn (also can change the proportion, such as two and four, or four and two).
