Type

By shape:

1. Filament:

  • A fiber that is not cut during chemical fiber processing. Filaments are further divided into monofilaments and multifilaments.
Monofilament: only one wire, transparent, uniform, thin.
Multifilament: several monofilaments and synthetic yarns.

2.Short fibers:

  • Chemical fibers can be cut into fibers of various lengths in the post-spinning process.

3.Shaped fiber:

  • Fiber of different cross section or hollow shape obtained by changing the shape of the spinneret.
1)Change fiber elasticity, cohesion and coverage, increase surface area, and enhance the reflectivity of light.
2)special gloss. Such as five-leaf shape, triangle.
    3) light weight, warm, and good moisture absorption. Such as hollow.
    4) Reduce static electricity.
    5) Improve hair raising and pilling performance, increase fiber friction coefficient and improve hand feeling.

4.Composite fiber:

  • A fiber formed by injecting two or more kinds of polymers into a same spinneret as a melt or a solution, and ejecting them from the same spinning hole. Also known as bicomponent or multicomponent fibers. The composite fiber generally has a three-dimensional space of three-dimensional curl, the volume is high and fluffy, the elasticity is good, the cohesion is good, and the covering ability is good. feature is:
    1) The structure is not uniform.
    2) The composition is not uniform.
    3) Uneven expansion.

5. Deformed silk:

  • A chemical fiber yarn or a chemical fiber yarn which has been subjected to deformation processing.
    1) High-elastic polyester yarn: using thermoplastic processing of synthetic fiber, elongation of 50~300%.
2)Low-elastic polyester yarn: The elongation is controlled below 35%.
3)Acrylic expanded yarn; utilizing the thermoelasticity of acrylic fiber. Hot stretching – high shrinkage, shrinkage up to 45 ~ 53%, mixed with low shrinkage fiber spinning, steam treatment.

By purpose

1. Ordinary fibers:

  • recycled fibers and synthetic fibers.

2. Special fiber:

  • high temperature resistant fiber, high strength fiber, high modulus fiber, radiation resistant fiber.
