The diameter of the inner skeleton of the cartridge is determined. The filter cartridge needs to have sufficient margins for differential pressure. When the required filtration product is calculated during operation, the area should be increased by a factor of two. This is because dust pollution is unpredictable in consideration of practical work.
In the filter cartridge, two types of filter media are generally used. One is a synthetic fiber filter, and the other is a paper filter. In the operation, the synthetic fiber nonwoven filter material can be used during the production process. The process can be divided into continuous fiber spunbond polyester hot press and short fiber spunbond polyester hot press.
When the surface of the filter medium in the filter cartridge is subjected to waterproofing treatment, the infiltration angle of the filter material after the waterproof treatment should be greater than 90°, and the dipping water level should not be lower than Class IV. When the filter material is used for oil-repellent treatment, the filter material is treated with oil. Polyester nonwoven filters can withstand operating temperatures no lower than 120°C. For other special conditions such as high temperature and humidity, the selection of filter cartridge material structure should meet the application requirements.
