High-efficiency air filters typically remove only solid, liquid particles (droplets), while water vapor and oil vapor can pass through the filter material in an unobstructed path. Therefore, the mechanical filter can not be filtered (except activated carbon filter). To fundamentally remove water vapor and oil vapor, only with the dryer to reduce the air dew point temperature.
