Vertical filter cloth is divided into polypropylene filter cloth, polyester filter cloth, acrylic filter cloth and so on according to different materials. As the heart part of the vertical filter press, it plays a huge role in filtration. However, in actual operation, the filtration efficiency of the filter cloth is often reduced due to improper operation, which affects the filtration quality. So, what are the precautions when using vertical filter cloth?
1. The filter cloth should not be hung too loosely or too tightly. Too loose and easy to accumulate dust, and too tight to be easily damaged.
2. The old and new filter cloths should not be mixed to avoid affecting the normal operation of the equipment due to the different damage time.
3. When unloading the filter cake, the cake unloading tool and the filter cloth should be kept as parallel as possible to prevent the filter cloth from being damaged.
4. The replaced filter cloth should be blown clean with compressed air first, and then check for holes. Repair the holes and leave them for replacement. If there is a filter cloth stuck with dust, it should be rinsed with water, dried and reserved for replacement.
5. Stop when the filter cake is of suitable thickness, and work again after unloading the cake, which can extend the service life of the filter cloth.
6. The time for the filter cake to adhere to the filter cloth should not be too long, too long will cause the filter cloth to deform and sag.
7. When changing the filter cloth, do not use a hard object to directly buckle the filter cloth and pull it down. Use force to pull up the auxiliary belt sewn on the filter cloth.
8. When installing the filter cloth, make sure that part of the filter cloth on the filter plate is flat and fixed, so as not to damage the filter cloth when the filter plate is pressed.
9. When unloading the filter cake, shovel the filter cake in the direction of the filter cloth.
