The dust-cleaning performance of dust has a great relationship with the nature of dust, that is, viscosity/particle size and bulk density. The viscosity of the dust is large, the particle size is small, the bulk density is small, and the cleaning is difficult. The filtering air speed should be lower, and vice versa.
Some people have done experiments. For the fine and smooth dust in talc powder, under all working conditions, only one blowback cleaning is required, and the resistance of the filter bag can be restored to the original value. The secondary dust accumulation is almost completely blown off. The blowing volume only needs 25 to 30%; for iron oxide superfine dust, it usually needs to blow back and clean several times in order to effectively reduce the resistance of the filter bag, and it is difficult to restore the original value. The ratio of the blowing volume is as high as 50 to 70% . This shows that for a certain bag type dust collector, the dust cleaning performance mainly depends on the nature of the dust and the dust-containing gas. Not all dusts are used. If the filtration air velocity is lower, the dust cleaning ability can be enhanced.
