Solution:
- Select the appropriate delivery pump according to the flow, connect the liquid inlet pipe on the filter and set a static valve in the middle, and dispose a stop valve at the lower outlet to connect the liquid outlet pipe. The upstream and downstream pressure gauges are equipped in the pipeline. The filter bag in the machine is supported by a filter blue made of a metal orifice plate, and the gap seal of the filter bag is suitable for the tightness. Rotate the fixed filter bag pressing device, check that the sealing O-ring is in good condition, cover the top cover of the filter, tighten the eyebolt and nut, and then put it into use. First, open the filter exhaust valve to vent.
- After the pump is started, slowly open the stop valve to let the filter medium slowly pass through the filter bag, so as to prevent the filter bag from being damaged due to sudden pressure. Close when there is liquid outflow. (when filtering dangerous liquid, operators shall pay attention to safety to prevent from being stuck by liquid, causing accidents, and the exhaust valve shall be connected with elbow for drainage.)
- After a period of operation, as the pressure difference between the upstream and downstream increases and the flow decreases, it means that the filter bag has been blocked. Shut down the filter, open the top cover of the filter, check the slag accumulation in the filter bag, take out the filter bag and replace it with a new one as appropriate. The pressure in the whole operation process shall not exceed the pressure value of the filter.
Matters needing attention:
- If the viscosity of the filter medium is high, the flow of the filter system will be attenuated, and the actual flow selected should be greater than the theoretical flow.
- If the content of impurities is more, the change of filter bag is more frequent, and the longer the standby time is, the worse the production will be. Therefore, the filtering area should be increased properly in the system design.
- The higher the filtering accuracy, the higher the density of the filter material, the greater the resistance of the medium flowing through, the smaller the filtering flow capacity, and the larger the filtering area needs to be selected.
- If the retention medium is hard, select surface filtration, such as metal mesh, nylon mesh, etc. If it is soft or colloidal particles, deep filtration should be selected.
- Pay attention to the working conditions of the filter medium, such as chemical compatibility, flow rate and temperature, to determine the filter type: single bag or multiple bags, which brand of stainless steel is the filter material (such as 304, 316L, etc.) and sealing material.
- In the actual design of the system, the site area and production continuity must be considered to determine. If a single machine is used in parallel or a multi-bag machine, if the water flow rate is 100m3 / h, 100/40 = 2.5, that is, three No. 2 filter bags, so a three-bag type No. 2 filter or a triple filter unit should be selected. The former has a compact structure, but it must be stopped when replacing the filter bag; the latter can be replaced without any downtime, but the investment cost is high.
