Industrial filter cloth is a filter medium woven from natural fibers and synthetic fibers. It is mainly used for solid-liquid separation and industrial dust removal. Synthetic fibers are mainly polypropylene, polyester, nylon, vinylon, etc. Among them, polyester and polypropylene are the most commonly used, and solid-liquid separation is the main. Industrial filter cloth has different precautions in the process of applying to different equipment. The following are divided into six categories to list:
- Attentions for filter presses:
① When installing industrial filter cloth, it is necessary to ensure the flatness and fixing of part of the filter cloth on the plate frame, so as not to damage the filter cloth when the plate frame is pressed due to the filter cloth being folded.
② The filter cake should not adhere to the filter cloth for too long, as it will cause deformation and sagging of the filter cloth.
③ When removing the filter cake, shovel the filter cake in the direction of the filter cloth.
- Note for belt filter:
①The length of the required filter cloth (including the length of the connector) should be measured correctly.
② When sewing, ensure that the wefts at both ends coincide or are parallel to prevent the filter cloth from drifting during operation.
③ The interface should pay attention to the operation direction, so as to prevent the scraper from blocking the filter cloth interface and damaging the filter cloth or preventing the filter cloth from advancing.
- Attentions for vertical disk machines (vertical disk machines):
① The selected filter cloth should not be too thick, as it is not conducive to sewing when the filter bag is installed.
② The surface of the selected filter cloth should not be too smooth, and too smooth to prevent the formation of filter cake, which affects the production efficiency.
- Attentions for labor-type machines (vertical belt filters):
① The filter cloth is required to have a certain thickness and strong tensile strength.
② The joint must ensure that the wefts at both ends are coincident or parallel to prevent the filter cloth from drifting during operation.
③ The interface should pay attention to the operation direction, so as to prevent the scraper from blocking the filter cloth interface and damaging the filter cloth or preventing the filter cloth from advancing.
- Note for bag dust collectors:
① Do not hang the filter cloth too loosely or too tightly.
② Do not mix the old and new filter bags, to avoid different damage time and affect the normal work of the equipment.
③ Replace the old filter bag with compressed air first, then check whether there are any holes, and repair the holes for replacement. If the filter bag is clogged with dust, rinse it with water and dry it for replacement.
- Note for wooden headphones:
① When installing the fungus filter bag, avoid being hung by the hard object to the filter bag, so as not to damage the synthetic filaments and cause the filter bag to perforate in a short time.
② Stop when the filter cake is the proper thickness, and then work after unloading the cake. This can extend the use time of the filter bag.
③ Do not use a hard object to directly pull down the filter bag when changing the filter bag, and pull up the auxiliary belt sewn on the filter bag with force.
④ When removing the filter cake, the cake removing tool should be kept as parallel to the filter cloth as possible to prevent damage to the filter bag.
