Working principle:

The working principle of the automatic slag discharge filter: the filter pump pumps the filtrate into the tank through the intake pipe and fills it. Under the action of pressure, the solid impurities in the filtrate are intercepted by the filter mesh on the filtrate, and a filter cake is formed on the filter mesh. The filtrate enters the outlet pipe through the filter tip and flows out of the tank body, thus obtaining a clear filtrate.

In this way, the filter resistance increases and the pressure in the tank rises. When the pressure rises to a certain value, the slag needs to be discharged. The filtrate is stopped and the compressed air is blown into the tank through the overflow pipe. The hydraulic pressure in the tank is put into another filter or other container, and the filter cake is dried. Close the compressed air, open the butterfly valve, start the vibrator, make the filter blade vibrate, vibrate the filter cake on the filter screen and discharged through the slag discharge outlet under the tank body.

The basic working principle of the automatic slag discharge filter is described above. Its main features are as follows.

  1. There is no need for filter cloth and paper, which greatly reduces the cost of filtration.
  2. Fully closed operation, environmental protection and no material loss.
  3. Vibration slag dropping greatly reduces labor intensity and realizes continuous operation.
  4. Pneumatic valve discharges slag, which greatly reduces the labor intensity of workers.
  5. Slag or activated carbon (clay) filtration or dewatering filtration in liquids can completely replace plate and frame filters. It is the preferred equipment in filtration industry.
