Flexibility setting of fiberglass cloth:
Crack-resistant protective layer: no cracks around the diameter of the 100mm diameter rod.
Flexible putty layer: no cracks around the 50mm diameter rod.
Elastic paint layer: no cracks around the diameter of 1 mm (after aging resistance for 2000 hours).
Acid erosion of glass fiber cloth:
Refractory fibers are generally considered to have good resistance to hydrochloric acid, acetic acid and nitric acid, and are resistant to attack by phosphoric acid at low temperatures. However, when aluminum phosphate is formed at high temperatures, the fibers will undergo significant shrinkage at temperatures above 540 °C. In this case, it is best to avoid contact of the refractory fibers with phosphoric acid.
Glass fiber refractory fiber use temperature:
For refractory fibers, the long-term use temperature is 1000-1250 ° C, the melting temperature is above 1780 ° C, and the continuous use temperature of rock wool, slag cotton, etc. is 600-700 ° C, glass wool (alkali-free glass wool) The continuous use temperature is less than 380 ° C, and the filaments will shrink and pulverize more than their use temperature. For this reason, these materials cannot be used as working linings for high temperature furnaces.
