First, according to the dispersion of dust

Dust dispersion has a great influence on the function of the dust collector. Therefore, when selecting the type of industrial dust collector, the first thing is to understand the dispersion of dust. When the fine dust particles are mostly occupied, electrostatic precipitator equipment, filter bag type dust collector equipment or wet dust removal equipment should be used.

Second, the dust concentration

In gravity, inertial force and centrifugal dust collectors, generally speaking, the greater the concentration of dust in the inlet, the higher the industrial dust removal power. However, this usually increases the dust concentration of the outlet, so it does not mean that higher the industrial dust removal power is, and better the dust device is.

In industrial dust collectors such as the Wenner scrubbers and the hairspray scrubbers, the initial dust concentration is desirably below 10 g/Nm3 due to factors such as collision loss of the throat sections and nozzle clogging.

In the filter dust collector, the lower the initial dust concentration, the better the overall dust removal function. In the case of high initial dust concentration, a continuous cleaning method with a small change in pressure loss is selected.

The electrostatic precipitator is usually used in an initial dust concentration of 30 g/Nm3 or less.

Third, adhesion to dust

The adhesion mechanism between dust and wall is very complicated. The smaller the particle size of dust, the larger the specific surface area and the greater the adhesion. In a cyclone dust collector, dust adheres to the wall due to centrifugal force, posing a risk of clogging.
