At present, the market share of bag filter is 80%, so how to improve the dust removal efficiency of bag filter has become the most concern for people. The dust removal efficiency of bag filter is the most basic parameter to measure the performance of bag filter. It represents the bag. The dust collector’s ability to handle dust-laden gas is related to the working condition of the dust bag, and is affected by many factors such as the nature of the dust, resistance, thickness of the dust layer, material of the filter material, filtration speed, and cleaning methods. Here we introduce three factors that affect baghouse dust collection efficiency.
(1) Effect of dust collector bag on dust removal efficiency under different working conditions
The classification efficiency of the same dust bag in different working conditions is different, the dust removal efficiency of the cleaning dust bag is the lowest, and the dust removal efficiency after the dust accumulation bag is the highest, and the dust collection efficiency of the dust removal bag after the cleaning dust is reduced. It can be seen that the main function of the bag filter is dust layer on the surface of the dust bag, which is usually called the secondary filter layer, and the dust bag only plays the role of supporting the dust layer. Therefore, the intensity of cleaning should be appropriate, and a certain thickness of dust should be retained to prevent the dust removal efficiency from decreasing.
(2) Effect of dust particle size on dust collection efficiency of bag filter
The bag filter has a particle size of 0.2-0.4μm, and the dust collecting efficiency of the ordinary dust bag is the lowest under the three working conditions, because the dust particles in this range are in the role of the bag filter “interception” and “diffusion”. The lower limit of the action is, so dust in the 0.2-0.4μm range is the hardest to trap.
(3) The effect of dust bag structure and dust load on dust collection efficiency of bag filter
The dust load deposited on the dust bag surface is also directly related to the dust removal efficiency of the bag filter.
