As the country continues to increase efforts in the treatment of atmospheric pollution, high-efficiency, low-resistance, long-life PTFE microporous membrane overlay filters have attracted increasing attention in the flue gas treatment industry.

However, due to the limited information on performance, production technology, product quality, and detection methods of domestic products, the use of dust removal equipment manufacturers and general engineering technicians engaged in environmental protection machinery manufacturers are familiar with the coated filter materials. Inadequate, and even some senior engineering and technical staff have little knowledge of the coated media, which is extremely unfavorable to the use and promotion of the coated media.

At present, there are many domestic manufacturers of coated film filters, but there are only two types of production processes. One is the use of internationally hot press technology, which is now commonly used in the world. According to our understanding, there are few domestic manufacturers that have such technology (especially It is the manufacturer that can produce high-temperature film-resistant filter media by using this technology.) The film-coated products produced by the hot-press technology can fully meet the technical requirements of the “film filter for bag filter” released by the State Environmental Protection Administration. Coated film produced by hot-press technology has excellent effect in actual use; another production process is to glue the film to the base cloth with adhesive. According to our investigation and preliminary testing and analysis of the relevant manufacturers’ products, we found that When the adhesive coated filter material is operated in an environment of 150°C or more, the adhesive begins to melt, and the melted adhesive will seep out from the micropores of the film. The oozing glue causes a large amount of dust to adhere to the surface of the filter material. On the top, it is difficult to remove, and the more it gets, the better the adhesion between the base cloth and the film of the film filter is already very low, and the dust sticking to the film is very fast. Then Pulling the film from the base fabric, it is reasonable to say that the coated film material at this time has become a common filter material, in fact it is even worse than the ordinary filter material, because the surface of the filter bag after the film is peeled off is still There is a large amount of adhesive (we found that some manufacturers use adhesive that does not volatilize above 200°C, but is only in liquid state), causing a lot of dust to stick to the surface of the filter bag and quickly blocking the filter bag and causing it to fail That is to say, the glued coating film filter is still not as good as the ordinary filter material. Due to the poor performance of the glued film products in practical use, this has led to doubts about the quality of domestically-made film filters, which in turn has caused negative effects on the use and promotion of domestic film products. Several of the laminated products that succeeded in the hot-press lamination technology and produced by the hot-press lamination technology have been used successfully by the relevant manufacturers.

Check whether the film product is adhesive, this method is very simple, as long as the film product is placed in an organic solvent (such as xylene or gasoline) soaked, and then removed to wipe it by hand to know, with glue The film-covered product will have its film falling, while the film-pressed product produced by the hot-press technology will not. Please pay attention to the product and guard against it.
