Q: What’s the difference between E-glass fiber and C-glass fiber?
A: 1)Alkali refers to containing alkali metal oxide (Na2O and K2O). Once contains alkali, electrical insulating properties will be poor. Therefore it can not be used at electrical insulation place. E-glass refers to the alkali content is less than 1% , which electric-resistance is hundreds of times than those c-glass finer. 2)Permeability: E-glass fiber > C-glass fiber 3)Breaking strength: E-glass finer > C-glass fiber
