Boiler thermal combustion technology uses power supply boilers, heating boilers or other non-exhaust gas treatment incinerators to directly introduce the organic waste gas into the boiler combustion chamber after simple pre-treatment. Without increasing or decreasing the equipment, the organic hydrocarbons in the exhaust gas oxidize after heat and are completely decomposed into carbon dioxide and water to purify the pollutants.

The boiler thermal combustion technology has the advantages of simple and practical, low investment, low operating cost and high purification efficiency. The organic waste gas in the polyether production process is sent to the boiler for incineration. The operation results show that the boiler exhaust gas can meet the relevant national emission standards, and the boiler thermal incineration technology can be used for organic waste gas treatment.

However, most of the organic gases are flammable and explosive, and there are safety risks such as corrosion and explosion to the boiler. At the same time, if the organic waste gas contains other elements other than hydrocarbon, it may cause secondary pollution after combustion. Therefore, in the treatment of organic waste gas, in addition to the purification efficiency, it is necessary to seriously consider the safety of the treatment system.
