FILMEDIA meta-aramid fibers own excellent comprehensive properties, such as high-temperature resistant, flame retardant, electric insulating, corrosion resistant, radiation resistant, easy spinning, easy dyeable, etc. The woven fabrics can be made into special protective clothing, which are widely used in metallurgy, construction, shipbuilding, petroleum, electric power, chemical industry, forestry, fire protection, etc.
Description
Ⅰ. Introduction
1.The products are natural white fibers.
2.The cross sections of the fibers are flat cashew-like. The fibers own large specific surface area, which can improve the filtration efficiency.
3.The surface of the fibers is rough, which means the fibers own good dyeability, and so the fabrics therefrom are easily dyed.
4.The fibers own excellent thermal stability. The fibers can be long-time serviced under the temperature of 205 degrees. The fibers carbonate near the temperature of 400 degrees, and the carbonization layer can efficiently obstruct thermal transportation.
5.The fibers own good flame retardancy, and they are self-extinguishing after being deviated from fire, without
melting and dropping. So, the fibers are ingrain flame retardant material.
6.The fibers own excellent electric insulation performance under various conditions, such as high or low temperature, and high humidity.
7.The fibers own good mechanical properties, with low rigidity and high elongation.
8.The fibers are safe, environmental-friendly, chemical corrosion-resistant. The fibers are SGS REACH certified.

V. Applications
The fibers can also process into needled non-woven fabrics and woven filter fabrics in the application of the high temperature flue gas filtration, such as metallurgy, cement industry, construction industry. The needled non-woven fabrics can also be process into high temperature-resistance conveyor belt, such as endless conveyer belt and sleeve. They can also be made into textile high-speed printed carpet. The fibers can be process into insulation paper and honeycomb core by proper papermaking technology.
