Filtration Solutions Expert – Filmedia®
Product quality and compliance with dust emission limits are core requirements for dusting in the cement, gypsum and lime industry. The choice of filter media is of paramount importance in cement kilns where there are high NOx levels due to high combustion temperatures. Filmedia® filter media range offers for each process in the cement, gypsum and lime industry technically sophisticated solutions.
- Excellent Material Selection
The fiber has high strength, good stability andheat resistance.and can be customized ondemand.
- Lathe Sewing
The special stitcher for normal temperature cloth bag shall be selected to seal the edges of three times without disconnection.
- Supporting Cage Skeleton
The supporting cage of dust removal bag iscarefully inspected before leaving the factory. It has high perpendicularity, beautiful andsmooth welding, and there is no open weldingburr, missing welding, etc.
- Customization
According to the customer’s requirements, the products are treated with singeing, roughening, water repellent, covering, etc.
Types of Filter Bags for Cement Plants
The material selection of filter bags in cement plants usually takes into account their performance requirements in terms of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and filtration efficiency. The following are common cement plant filter bag materials:
- Polyester (PET): Polyester fiber is a commonly used filter bag material with good high temperature resistance and chemical stability, and is suitable for the filtration needs of general cement production.
- Aramid(Nomex): Aramid fiber has a dense structure and can effectively capture fine dust particles and improve filtration efficiency. Compared with some other high-temperature fibers, aramid has better hydrolysis resistance and can be used in high-humidity environments.
- Acrylic (AC): Acrylic fiber is usually used to filter chemically corrosive gases in cement plants and has good corrosion resistance.
- PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene): PTFE filter bags have excellent high temperature resistance and chemical stability, and are suitable for filtration of high temperature and highly corrosive gases, but the cost is relatively high.
- Fiberglass: Glass fiber filter bags have good high temperature resistance and chemical stability, are suitable for high temperature gas filtration, and have high mechanical strength and wear resistance.
- PPS (polyphenylene sulfide): PPS is a synthetic fiber with good high temperature resistance and chemical resistance, suitable for filtration in high temperature flue gas.
- P84 (polyamide fiber): P84 fiber has excellent high temperature resistance and chemical stability, and is suitable for high temperature gas filtration.
