Oxidizer desizing is mainly used for desizing of PVA and its mixed pulp. The oxidizing agent desizing is mostly carried out under alkaline conditions and can be treated in the same bath as scouring or bleaching.
Desizing principle:
Under alkaline conditions, the oxidant oxidizes and degrades the slurry to reduce the relative molecular mass, increase the water solubility, and then remove it by water to achieve the purpose of desizing. Strong oxidizing agents such as hydrochloric acid, hydrogen peroxide, sodium bromate, and the like. The various slurries have the effect of explaining the breakage of the macromolecule of the slurry, so that it is easy to be washed off from the fabric.
Features:
- The oxidant has a fast desizing speed, high efficiency, uniform texture and a certain bleaching effect.
- However, strong oxidants also have an oxidation effect on cellulose, which has certain damage to the fibers. Therefore, the process conditions should be controlled to keep the fiber strength as much as possible.
