What is Singeing?
Singeing is a process that involves rapidly burning away the tiny fibers on the surface of needle-punched felt at high temperatures, resulting in a smoother, more even fabric surface. This process is primarily used on polyester needle-punched felt filter media, improving the material’s surface properties without affecting its overall thickness and structure.
