Candle filters are named after their candle-like shape. These filter elements are typically hollow tubular structures, sealed at the bottom with an end cap and equipped with a threaded connector at the top for mounting onto a header. The outer surface of the tube is commonly supported by perforated plate, expanded metal, sintered metal, or porous ceramic, providing strong mechanical support for the filter media.

Filter cloth enables effective solid–liquid separation by precisely controlling pore size to retain solid particles while allowing liquid to pass through smoothly, ensuring an optimal balance between filtration efficiency and flow rate. During the initial filtration stage, the filter cloth acts as the primary filtering layer; once a filter cake is formed, the cloth and cake together constitute the main filtration barrier, further enhancing overall filtration performance.

Filter Media Materials
A wide range of high-performance materials is available to suit different operating conditions:
- PP (Polypropylene)
- PE (Polyethylene)
- PA (Polyamide / Nylon)
- PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)
- PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide)
- PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone)
Weaving Methods
Different weaving structures allow precise control of filtration accuracy, permeability, and durability.
