Product Features

☑ High Salt Rejection

Salt rejection rates typically exceed 99.5%, effectively removing sodium, magnesium, calcium, chlorides, and other dissolved salts.

☑ High Permeate Flow

Optimized membrane surface design enhances water flux and reduces energy consumption per unit of permeate produced.

☑ Excellent Fouling Resistance

Minimizes the adhesion of organic matter and biological foulants, extending cleaning intervals.

☑ Stable and Durable

Suitable for high-salinity seawater environments; typical service life ranges from 3 to 7 years (depending on operating conditions).

  • Permeate flow rate for individual elements may vary with tolerance within 15%.

Working Principle of RO Membranes

Reverse osmosis technology operates based on the principle of osmotic pressure. When the applied pressure exceeds the natural osmotic pressure of seawater, water molecules pass through the semi-permeable membrane, while salt ions, microorganisms, and most dissolved contaminants are rejected, thereby achieving efficient desalination and purification.

Membrane Structure

Seawater reverse osmosis membranes typically employ a spiral-wound structure, consisting of the following components:

  • Center tube
  • Feed spacer
  • Semipermeable membrane
  • Permeate carrier
  • Semipermeable membrane
  • Feed spacer
  • Glassfiber wrap
