The rotary drum vacuum filter is a continuous filtration machine widely used for solid–liquid separation. It consists of a rotating drum covered with filter cloth, with part of the drum submerged in slurry. A vacuum applied inside the drum draws liquid through the filter media, while solids form a cake on the drum’s surface.

Common Materials
- Polyester (PET): Chemical resistance, stable performance, most widely used.
- Polypropylene (PP): Good for alkaline environments; lightweight and durable.
- Nylon (PA): High strength and excellent abrasion resistance.
- PPS / P84 / PTFE: For high-temperature or harsh chemical environments.
