PTFE impregnation, also known as PTFE finishing, is one of our widely used fabric finishing. It is usually applied to high-temperature filter fabrics by completely immersing the fabric in a PTFE dispersion. It provides a high degree of water resistance to the oil and improves the cleanliness of the fabric, thereby reducing the operating pressure drop.
The abrasion resistance of the fabric after PTFE finishing will be improved to prevent the moisture and acid generated during the dew point transition from being absorbed by the filter fabric.
It is suitable for all types of high temperature applications where there is an acid dew point transition, such as coal-fired boilers, cement and combustion.
