Choosing the dust collector bag and the dust collector generally needs to go through the following steps.

  1. Understand the temperature of the flue gas to be processed: the filter bag is the core component of the bag filter. Whether the selected filter material can adapt to the flue gas temperature is very important. If the normal use temperature of the filter material exceeds the temperature of the flue gas too much, the high cost of the high-temperature filter material causes an increase in equipment investment. If the normal use temperature of the filter material is lower than the temperature of the flue gas, it may cause the cloth bag to burn and cause great economic losses. So how to choose the filter material according to the flue gas temperature? According to the temperature of use, the filter material is divided into: normal temperature filter material below 130℃, medium temperature filter material 130~180℃, high temperature filter material 180~280℃. Knowing whether the flue gas temperature and the temperature of the filter material are used can be selected.
  2. Understand the composition of the flue gas: This includes parameters such as the content of dust, specific gravity, particle size, viscosity, and moisture content of the flue gas. By understanding these determine the dust removal method of the dust collector, the post-processing method of the filter material and the filtering wind speed. Under normal circumstances, the pulse bag filter is used for large dust volume, relatively sticky and light working conditions, and the filtering wind speed is mostly controlled above 1.2m/min, and a few working conditions are below 1m/min. Others depend on the situation, you can use high-pressure reverse blowing dust collector and cyclone dust collector. The post-treatment methods of the filter material generally include microporous film, water and oil repellent, anti-static (conducting yarn is added when weaving) and easy to clean, etc., depending on the situation.
  3. Understand the amount of flue gas that needs to be processed: the processing air volume of the dust collector is usually the air volume of the working condition plus the system air leakage coefficient (10%~15%). Knowing the processing air volume of the dust collector, the filter wind speed can pass the formula: S=Q/60V to get the total filtration area. Among them:
    S: Total filtration area
    Q: System processing air volume
    V: Filter wind speed
